Free Tools
Small OCR and transcription utilities I run for my own projects, opened up for anyone to use. No signup, no watermark.
Image to text (photo & JPG/PNG OCR)
Upload a photo of a whiteboard, a screenshot of a menu, or a JPG/PNG of a receipt and get clean, editable text back. Useful for pulling quotes out of a screenshot, digitizing a handwritten note, or grabbing text from an image someone sent you that you can't select or copy.
Scanned document to text (OCR)
Convert a scanned PDF or DOCX, a contract, an old report, or a form you photographed at an office, into searchable, copy-pasteable text. Handles both born-digital PDFs and pages that are pure scanned images.
YouTube video to transcript
Paste a YouTube link and get a full text transcript back, for pulling quotes out of a talk, skimming a long tutorial without watching it, or feeding a video's content into notes or a summary.
TikTok transcript
Turn a TikTok clip into text, captions, spoken narration, or both, so you can quote it, translate it, or repurpose it without re-watching and manually transcribing.
Instagram reel to text
Extract a transcript from an Instagram reel or carousel, the spoken audio and any on-screen text, for saving a recipe, a tutorial, or a recommendation someone posted without typing it out by hand.
Video details
Paste any video link and read what is behind it, the channel, length, publish date, view and like counts, chapter list, and which subtitle languages exist, without opening the page or being tracked by it.
Download a video
List every quality a video is available in, pick one, and get the file. Useful for keeping an offline copy of something you made or have the right to save. Up to 200MB per file, three downloads per ten minutes.
