AWS infrastructure as code for a startup's web platform

The problem
A startup was setting up its first real AWS environment and wanted to avoid clicking through the console by hand.
What I built
I wrote the environment as code: a network with a public and a private side, compute for a general and a GPU workload, a database and a load balancer.
The result
The startup could create a second environment, or recover the first, from the same code.
