AWS ECS infrastructure with Cloud Map service discovery

The problem
An application had a light frontend and a much heavier backend job that needed more power and special access to disk. Running both on the same fixed infrastructure would starve one of them.
What I built
I built separate container services for each, with a private network and service discovery between them, and safe jump access for engineers.
The result
Neither workload starves the other, and the team can reach the private parts safely.
